Gremlins w/ Embroidery by Soothe Folk // NIGHT OF 1000 Corey Feldmans
The following description was submitted by the event organizer.
PAM CUT launches PLUS PLUS, a new annual festival that celebrates multifaceted artists and multi-media storytellers who explore and question what tomorrow brings.
It’s Night of 1,000 Corey Feldmans. Bring the family to the Tomorrow Theater for Gremlins, then return sans kids for Corey Feldman’s The Birthday.
Before the film, Soothe Folk will demonstrate live chain stitching in the theater from a custom flash sheet with a special limited-edition Tomorrow Theater design. A very limited quantity of chain stitching will be available for guests on a first-come-first-served basis (yes, you can bring your baseball cap for stitching). Alex Stone (MFA) is a chain stitch embroidery artist living in Portland. She started her business in 2022 and now creates custom bespoke embroidery on clothing and artwork. She brings her embroidery setup to live events to bring this form of embroidery back into the public eye.
