Join an unforgettable weekend celebrating the spirit, heritage and flavors of Indigenous communities in honor of Native American Heritage Month. Explore an Indigenous marketplace on Saturday, Nov. 2, featuring Native vendors selling handmade crafts, artwork and more. Sip wines from Native winemakers and neighboring Willamette Valley wineries, and enjoy small bites as you take in live cooking demonstrations from renowned Native chefs.
Highlights of the walk-around event:
- Shop 25 Native vendors
- Enjoy cultural performances
- Taste wines from Native winemakers alongside Willamette Valley wineries
- Savor small bites and watch live cooking demos from celebrated Native chefs, including Nephi Craig, Freddie Bitsoie and Alexa Numkena-Anderson
- Purchase flavored popcorn made by students from the Siletz Valley School’s culinary program
A portion of ticket proceeds benefit the Northwest Native Chamber. NWNC is dedicated to working with all community members to transform the economic landscape for Native people in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.
