Ashley Kutcher specializes in a relatable blend of confessional storytelling and hook-driven electro pop. The Baltimore pop sensation had just completed her nursing degree when her single "Love You from a Distance" became a streaming hit. The social media star had already developed a sizeable online fan base with early singles "Lust" and "Hands to Myself." The arrival and explosive response to "Love You from a Distance" earned her a record deal with Interscope imprint Darkroom, which released her debut EP, One Eighty, in 2021. She capitalized on her breakout year in 2022 with the arrival of her sophomore EP, Survive My Own Mind, which tackled themes of heartache and mental health. Kutcher stayed busy in 2023, releasing a string of streaming hits including "Boy from Carolina" and "Matchbox."
