LEFT COAST Comedy’s Table Read & Comedy Movie Night

Do you think you might need to laugh after the elections? Here's the perfect night reserved for you. Sit back in the McMenamins Kennedy School Movie Theater’s comfy couches, sip, eat dinner and get ready to smile and laugh.
Meet and Greet of who’s who in the Pacific Northwest film community, mingling with fans of films. Take selfies with Fabio, FBI Agents and other interesting characters. All are welcome. SAG Actors and Professional Actors will Table Read the top (4) short comedic scripts, the “Official Selections” from the 1st Annual LEFT COAST Comedy’s Scriptwriting Contest.
An Audience Award Vote will choose the Grand Prize Winner. This short comedic script will be directed and produced by LEFT COAST Comedy in 2025 with writer’s credits. After a short intermission to refresh your beverage and get a snack, the Director, Cast and Crew of LEFT COAST Comedy will discuss and premiere their latest short comedic movies.

Scripts will be read and judged by a panel of Award-winning and Produced Writers, including other working professionals in the film industry, including SAG-AFTRA Actors, Agents, Managers, Directors, Directors of Photography, Assistant Directors, and Producers.
Spotlighting the talent of local writers, actors and crew, including music composers. Thank you for your support of independent films.
