Join a five-course tasting menu dinner at the Victorian Belle featuring the beautiful pairings of chef Jorge Castillo Quintal and Gigantic Brewing. The brewmaster from Gigantic Brewing will guide you through the subtleties of the craft beers for each course.

Gigantic Brewing has been around for 12 years. Owners Ben Love and Van Havig have a long history of brewing in the PNW. Ben Love's passion for beer began in Portland's early craft days with frequent visits to the Horse Brass Pub and Belmont Station. He can credit his early brewing career to Pelican Brewing Co. and Hopworks Urban Brewery, two of the biggest breweries around. As a brewer, Van continues questioning conventions regarding beer styles, brewing methods, and brewer dogma. His appreciation of old-world styles and methods leads to unique takes on new styles.

The ticket price includes five-course meals with beer pairings:

  • 1st course: Amuse bouche. Purple potato and ají amarillo shrimp causita paired with Gigantic Pilsner: a love letter to the Pacific NW. Brewed with pure mountain water, Willamette Valley hops, and locally produced malt: grassy and Spicy Hops, bready, crisp bitterness.
  • 2nd course: Appetizer. Vegetarian Cebiche with sweet potatoes, onions, lime juice, cucumber, tomato, cilantro, and habanero paired with the Sassypony Juicy Pale: She's a sassy pony, frisky, and hop-forward. Hold on for a ride around barrels of juicy citrus and tropical hop flavors.
  • 3rd course: Salad. Mesclun greens, shaved fennel, candied pumpkin seeds, and bleu cheese with passion fruit dressing paired with Gigantic IPA: a bright hop aroma and flavor with big tropical notes featuring citrus fruits and mango.
  • 4th course: Entree. Marinated and roasted chicken, fingerling potatoes, and seasonal vegetables are paired with Gigantic Kölsch, a clean, crisp, delicately balanced beer with very subtle fruit flavors and aromas.
  • 5th course: Dessert. A plated brownie with caramel and ice cream paired with Long Play Stout: a sublime state of smoothness, with notes of espresso, chocolate, and roast backed by a touch of caramel sweetness.

A full bar will be available before and after dinner. All other bar items may be purchased separately. Ticket prices include dinner and 20% gratuity. After dinner, join billiards on the third floor, enjoy a stroll around the grounds, or explore the mansion's three floors at your leisure.
