Join Familias en Acción and filmmaker, author, and organizer Paola Mendoza for an unforgettable evening. You'll have the chance to watch a special screening of Paola's award-winning film "Entre Nos" and meet the artist behind the film. Be in the community and be a part of the movement.
"Entre Nos" is inspired by a true story and follows a Colombian immigrant, Mariana, who is trying to survive with her two children in New York. Navigating a fast-paced city with an unfamiliar language, struggling with barriers to accessing reproductive healthcare, and finding ways to overcome poverty, "Entre Nos" shows a few of the common struggles Latinx immigrants experience coming to the United States of America. The film audio will be in Spanish with English subtitles.
