Cascadia Drag Festival
The following description was submitted by the event organizer.
Marla Darling, in partnership with the Oregon City Pride Festival, presents The Cascadia Drag Festival. This spectacular festival is a three-day event that is being held at the historic Clinton Street Theater. This festival serves to create, uplift, and celebrate the artistic expressions of Queer, Trans, and BIPOC performers from around the Pacific Northwest. With some very special guests, including Bolivia Carmichaels, Lady Berri Matthews, Sugarpill and the cast of Hunk PDX.
For the second year of the festival, the festival wishes to dedicate this year's festival to performer, host, and community leader, Dahlia Kash, with a special opening night hosted by Destiny Smokez and Risqué and Rye. This night will feature members of Kash Fam and House of Smokez. A portion of ticket sales from the festival will be donated to the Melange fund to help sustain BIPOC Queer art in Portland, Oregon.
