Ukrainian Winter Fest and Concert
The following description was submitted by the event organizer.
Enjoy the first-annual holiday bazaar and fundraiser. Ukrainian Winter Fest begins at 1:00 p.m. and continues until late evening. Visitors to the Holiday Bazaar can look forward to interactive Ukrainian craft demonstrations, a photography and art exhibit, an exciting art auction and raffle, plus various gift displays where visitors can stock up on unique Ukrainian gifts for the holidays. Children's activities will keep kids busy as parents roam the large hall, where they can view or purchase Ukrainian embroideries, traditional crafts, and unique jewelry.
At 5:30 p.m. will be an auction, as well as a musical concert including several performers, most of whom are Ukrainian: Amelia Lukas, Anton Belov, Inna Kovtun, Larry Wilder, and Darka Dusty and the Borshch Beatniks.
This unique event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season while bolstering an important cause: the continued support of Ukraine’s defenders and citizens as they fight not only for a democratic future but for their very existence. The goal for the evening is to raise money for critically-needed medical and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Please invite your family, friends, acquaintances, and spread the word.
