Tag! Queer Shorts Festival returns to the Hollywood Theatre with 42 new short films from local and international LGBTQIA+ directors. The theme for the 2025 festival is "CREATE, GATHER, RESIST," a call for queer communities to respond to the ongoing targeting of transgender, nonbinary and other groups. Curated blocks start at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. each day, each one with an eclectic mix of animation, music video, narrative fiction, experimental, and documentary shorts followed by a discussion with directors in attendance. All screenings are open-captioned in English.
