Late Nite Foglight x Dame
The following description was submitted by the event organizer.
Foglight Farms will host Patrick McKee of Dame on Sunday, October 15, for an immersive collaboration of food, wine, and performance on their idyllic property in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Using the model of a late-night TV show, this edition of Late Nite Foglight will take as its jumping-off point the fact that farmers, chefs and artists work within fraught industries that COVID-19 made even more volatile, yet such individuals still dedicate themselves to nourishing their communities.
Participants will be immersed in the arts throughout the evening, led by Gretchen Corbett and Foglight's Prentice Onayemi, performing in character as "late-night hosts." Meanwhile, Foglight artist-in-residence Tatiana Godoy Betancur will present a multi-sensory visual art installation. Foglight farmers will lead the audience through storytelling tours across the farm's property.
The six-course dinner with wine pairings, live performance, visual art installations and farm tours will be held on October 15. Attendees must be at least 21 years old, and the event will take place rain or shine. Discounts are available for farmers, performing and visual artists, and service industry workers.
Late Nite Foglight is co-produced by Foglight Farms and its sister nonprofit organization, Grains of Salt Leadership Studio. For more information, contact Lusi Lukova at ll@foglightfarms.com.
