9/17: Latin Grammy Winner Pianist Pablo Estigarribia plays a solo tango concert from 7 – 8 p.m. in Director Park.
Estigarribia is proud to assume the tango tradition's teacher and transmitter role. He is delighted to showcase and share the beauty of tango's rich lineage, and he gladly invites both the experienced and uninitiated to study tango's unique, seductive flair.
9/24: Join Alex Krebs, Tango Dancer, Instructor, Musician, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. For an evening of tango in Director Park. (A dance floor is being set up, so bring those nice dance shoes you are always talking about.)
Alex has been dancing Argentine Tango since 1997 and has been teaching worldwide since 1998, including performances in Buenos Aires. He has partnered with tango legends Melina Brufman, Luciana Valle, and Florencia Taccetti. He has run his all-Argentine tango studio, Tango Berretin, in Portland, Oregon, since 2001.
