The following description was submitted by the event organizer.

You are invited to enter through the visual experience offered by local abstract-surrealist fine artist Jeff Reznikoff. His unique style draws from the deep well of the subconscious and explores the interconnected, reflective and playful nature of reality and existence. It offers viewers an opportunity for rich adventures within their own imagination and depths of self.

Jeff specializes in creating large charcoal drawings to express the veiled narratives that whisper within, which are best experienced in person. In addition to Jeff’s love for charcoal's primal and elegant qualities, he dabbles with pastel, ink, watercolor and acrylic paint. Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from ASU and a master’s in Mythological Studies from Pacifica Graduate University. He also studied under several amazing artists who helped him open up and attune his creative expression.

This exhibition marks a return for Jeff back into the spotlight of public art display after many years in the shadows and also back to his roots of charcoal drawing, which first inspired his large-scale drawings 25 years ago. “Secret Poems” is an homage to the nearly ineffable whisper within all of us.

Celebrate the exhibition opening with the artist on 9/6 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
