Opera in the Park Portland presents its 21st Annual Opera in the Park, featuring a world-class cast of internationally acclaimed singers and a full chorus and orchestra under the baton of conductor Keith Clark. Rigoletto will take place in the beautiful Washington Park Amphitheater. The concert is open to all and is offered FREE of charge.

One of Verdi's most beloved operas, Rigoletto, tells a captivating story of love, betrayal, and vengeance. Set in Renaissance Italy, the opera follows the tragic tale of the court jester as he navigates a treacherous world of power, corruption, and moral dilemmas. With its unforgettable melodies and poignant drama, Rigoletto continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

This production will feature acclaimed baritone LUIS LEDESMA in the title role, soprano AUBRY BALLARÒ as his innocent daughter “Gilda,” and tenor CÉSAR DELGADO as the unforgettable “Duke of Mantua.” Other principal artists include bass-baritone DEANDRE SIMMONS, who many will remember from last season’s production of AÏDA, and Portland favorites RICHARD ZELLER, HANNAH PENN, and JOCELYN CLAIRE THOMAS.
