With her blend of crushing sonics and lighter-than-air vocals, Wisp's version of shoegaze envelops her listeners. The San Francisco-based artist quickly found an audience: her 2023 debut single "Your Face" racked up millions of streams and led to a major-label deal. Wisp developed her blend of Whirr and Deftones-inspired crunch, lo-fi production, and breathy, Grouper-esque singing on later singles like "Tangled Dreams" and 2024's "See You Soon."
