James Beard Strawberry Shortcake Week

This is a project of the James Beard Public Market Foundation to raise awareness of the strawberry growers in Oregon and the incredible food ecosystem in the region. The program will benefit the James Beard Public Market Foundations Oregon Taste Program. Oregon Taste is a digital directory of local, fresh foods offered by independent producers statewide with the goal of supporting Oregon farmers, fishers and ranchers and where you can discover fresh-grown foods at local farms, farmers’ markets, ranches, stands, U-pick fields, orchards and online farm shops in your community. This program hopes to expand in the coming year, and this activation will further support that effort.
