If you’ve ever dreamed of hearing the whistle of a steam locomotive or stepping back into the golden age of railroading, now’s your chance. Something big is pulling into the station — Train Day at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center. This exciting day will be packed with family-friendly fun, train rides, history, and unforgettable experiences.

Calling all train passengers. Step aboard the Polson #2, a 112-year-old steam locomotive, for a 45-minute scenic journey along the Willamette River to Oaks Park and back. The Polson #2 will be assisted by the historic OPR 100 diesel engine. 

Admission to the exhibit is free — explore the exhibits, watch the locomotives come to life, and enjoy the festivities at no cost. Train rides are
