Paxton Gate PDX is hosting a series of one-day taxidermy workshops. Learn the art of taxidermy in these hands-on workshops led by Sovereign of PumaCreatives. Students will be guided through the step-by-step process of taxidermizing their selected animal and will take their creations home. 

Friday 10/25: Jackalope on a plaque
Saturday 10/26: Rat, full body
Sunday 10/27: Skunk, full body, soft mount

Sovereign is a lifelong artist with a deep love for all things eerie and unconventional. Her passion is creation, and taxidermy has given her the unique tools to bring fantastical, never-before-seen creations to life. She hopes to utilize her experience to help anyone and everyone create the types of things that make the creepy heart glad. 
Animal pelts are prepared by the instructor prior to the workshop.
