“Ticket to Dine” restaurant month is back for its third year in March 2025, and it will be a full month of good Portland eats and prizes! Portlanders and visitors alike can explore an abundance of participating restaurants and eateries and experience the many cuisines the city has to offer.

How it Works

Visit a participating restaurant for in-house dining or in-person pickup and order any items on their menu. Upon checkout, you’ll receive a QR code with your purchase to scan for entry into the Year of Dining drawing to win 52 gift certificates — one for every week of the year. Each time you dine at a participating restaurant in the month of March, you can increase your entries for more chances to win. Plus, if you order the featured dish at a participating restaurant, you also have a chance at winning that dish for free!

Over 80 restaurants are participating throughout the city, including downtown Portland, Old Town Chinatown, Central Eastside, the Pearl District, RiverPlace, Nob Hill, the South Waterfront, and the Lloyd District.

Ticket to Dine is an invitation to get people back down to central Portland to rediscover the eateries that make our city so special.

Shauna Noah O’Connor, event organizer

The Prizes

Diners can win gift cards to 52 restaurants — one for each week of the year! Just scan your QR code, given upon checkout, to enter for a chance to win. Dine out and get more entries! Winners of the Year of Dining will be drawn each week of March and notified on Monday.

Instant Win

Each restaurant also has a featured Ticket to Dine dish. If you order it, you can potentially win that dish for free right on the spot. Follow the Ticket to Dine Instagram for hints about when and where the free Instant Win dish prize will appear.
