France is one of the most important wine regions in the world. Much of the modern wine world is credited to France and what they have learned over many centuries of perfecting their art. This series focuses on some of the main regions of France: Bordeaux, Rhône Valley, and Burgundy. Taste some iconic styles, and learn about each region’s history, terroir and significant impact around the world
Rhône Valley
Carved by a giant glacier many centuries ago, the Rhône Valley is the 2nd largest wine region in France. The Rhône Valley is home to the popular varietals syrah, grenache and viognier. The Rhône is a great place to look for delicious value wines but also a necessary region to have for cellar-worthy collectibles.
