Believe in all that is magical, mystical, and marvelously sexy and escape into the glorious literary world of fantasy as Lacy Productions and the Alberta Rose Theatre present the Booklover’s Burlesque: Fantasy Edition
Booklover’s Burlesque, brought to you by Lacy Productions, is the world’s sexiest literary salon, which matches titillating, inspiring, and empowering book readings with burlesque, boylesque, and draglesque performances all in one show. Professional readers, actors, and/or local authors and writers read aloud a piece of poetry, fiction (from any genre), memoir, non-fiction, etc, which is then followed by a burlesque, boylesque, and/or draglesque performance inspired by the piece. Lacy Productions, named 2024 Runner Up for Best Theater Company in the Best of Portland for Willamette Week, creates body, sex, and queer positive, diverse, and inclusive shows for ALL.
Door tickets are sold only if available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once capacity is reached, there will not be tickets available at the door.
