Kenny Broberg

American pianist Kenny Broberg, one of his generation's most decorated and internationally renowned pianists, will make his Portland debut in back-to-back recitals presented by Portland Piano International (PPI) at Lincoln Performance Hall, Portland State University, on Jan. 21 and 22, 2023. Ilya Rashkovskiy, previously scheduled to perform on these dates, had to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances.
Broberg, named one of PPI's 2022 – 23 Rising Stars last fall, will also perform a preview recital at the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts in Beaverton on Jan. 19. This hourlong performance, without intermission, offers audiences a taste of the inventive, intelligent, and intense artistry he'll bring to the full-length recitals in Portland.
