Luminaries Paul Watkins, Carolin Widmann, and Jonathan Vinocour join Protégé alumni the Viano Quartet, Benjamin Beilman, and Nina Bernat for Rossini’s lively Duet for Cello and Bass, Bottesini’s dazzlingly agile Gran Duo Concertante, and George Walker’s Lyric for Strings. Mendelssohn’s captivating B-flat Major Viola Quintet brings the evening to a soulful conclusion.
