Join us for Evenings of Lanterns, Family Activities, and Illuminated Lion Dance
Experience the true magic of the Mid-Autumn Festival when the nighttime arrives. Celebrate the festival with three evenings of traditional lantern viewings at Lan Su where the garden will be adorned with countless hanging lanterns along the roofline and floating waterlily lanterns in the Lake Zither.
Second to the Lunar New Year, the Mid-Autumn Festival is considered one of the most important Chinese holidays for family reunions. To be part of the traditional celebration, Lan Su’s Lantern Viewing Evenings offer family-friendly activities such as paper lantern making and Mid-Autumn storytime. But the must-see of the nights? The eye-catching, illuminated lion dance performance by the Portland Lee’s Association Lion Dance Team.
Please note: Mid-Autumn Lantern Viewing Evenings 2021 are after-hour events required individual tickets to enter. The events will be operated with limited capacity. Masks are required for the visitors.
