Winterland PDX

The Winterland project is an opportunity to engage community and encourage residents and visitors to safely explore art pieces at window locations throughout downtown, the Central Eastside, and Old Town. Local artist Mike Bennett has teamed with young, local BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) artists to repurpose plywood that had been installed over the windows of downtown businesses, transforming it into a menagerie of colorful winter themed art pieces.
