Oregon Repertory Singers and Youth Choir welcome Union High School’s string orchestra for Glory of Christmas. This year they are not only celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Oregon Repertory Singers and the 30th Anniversary of ORS Youth Choir but also the 40th year of teaching for Tim Siess, Union High School orchestra director and long-time member of Oregon Repertory Singers.

Choir and orchestra will combine for movements of Vivaldi's famous Gloria, as well as music by Ola Gjeilo, Randall Thompson, and a new orchestration of Written for You by our very own Naomi LaViolette, also celebrating a milestone — 20 years with ORS. The choir will also sing holiday favorites, including Eriks Esenvalds’ Stars for choir, tuned wine glasses, and Ethan Sperry's unfortunate medley of Hannukah songs.
