Vijay has been widely praised for his work in Los Angeles with the Street Symphony, a community of musicians creating spaces of connection for people in reentry from homelessness, addiction and incarceration in Los Angeles. Soon to be releasing a book, Vijay continues to wow musicians and appreciators alike with his collaborations, brilliant playing, and transformative ideas. This performance is part of a week-long residency with Vijay, which will bring 45th Parallel musicians to perform for social service partners in the community.
