The following description was submitted by the event organizer.

The Wild Arts Festival is Pacific Northwest’s premier art show and book fair celebrating the natural world. Held by the Portland Audubon each year, the festival attracts nearly 5,000 visitors.

The Wild Arts Festival showcases more than 60 artists, including jewelry designers, painters, printmakers and sculptors, plus glass, wood, fiber art and ceramic artists. The beautifully diverse artistic media are aligned in their inspiration, drawing from:
• Nature or wildlife as a subject,
• Natural materials as a medium, or
• Art promoting environmental sustainability

Book signings are Saturday and Sunday from 12-4, featuring different authors throughout the weekend. Meet Colin Meloy (lead singer of Decemberists) and his wife, illustrator Carson Ellis, as they promote their new books. Kim Stafford, the former Poet Laureate of Oregon, will be signing his latest book, along with many exceptional authors.

A silent auction will take place throughout the pavilion’s concourse, where attendees will find an incredible selection of art, experiences, and outdoor gear
