The Hackles

The Hackles are a folk collaboration from the oldest settlement west of the Rockies, Astoria, Oregon. The band comprises the core trio of Kati Claborn, Luke Ydstie, and Halli Anderson. Powerful three-part harmonies, unconventional and nuanced use of guitar, violin, banjo and clarinet, and songwriting/leading contributions from all three members create a compelling and unique blend of folk and Americana.
They have released two albums, The Twilight’s Calling it Quits (2018), and A Dobritch Did as a Dobritch Should (2019). Their new album, What a Beautiful Thing I Have Made, comes out April 7, 2023.
