When the Jonas Brothers emerged in the middle of the 2000s, they were a trio of attractive brothers reminiscent of Hanson yet possessed a fizzy Y2K verve that made them ideal candidates to rule the neo-bubblegum of Radio Disney during its heyday. Unlike many teen idols, the Jonas Brothers managed to mature. Following their impressive run on the Billboard charts in the late 2000s, one where they scored the Top Ten hits "Burnin' Up" and "Tonight," the trio went on hiatus to pursue their various interests.
After nearly a decade apart, the Jonas Brothers reunited in 2019 with the documentary Chasing Happiness and their fifth studio effort, Happiness Begins, a number one album that kickstarted a comeback continued with the 2023 release of The Album. Both Happiness Begins, and The Album showcased a group that added electronic dance and classic flourishes to their melodic pop.
