This downtown Portland walking tour will take participants around, across, under, and inside the unique and storied spans that shape the experience of those living and visiting Portland. The route will include several bridges (with specific spans TBA), and on one of them, meet a Multnomah County bridge operator to hear what that job is like. Lifelong Portland residents and those visiting Portland for the first time are equally likely to see and learn something new on this all-ages excursion.

Saturday, February 7th, 5 p.m.-7 p.m., the tour will celebrate the first weekend of the Winter Light Festival. This sunset bridge tour will incorporate as many festival sculptures and installations as possible into the route. The route will also include visits to see the nighttime lighting on the Morrison Bridge, the Hawthorne Bridge, and Tilikum Crossing. Preregistration is required; more tour details will be provided to participants following signup.

The meetup location, route, and itinerary may vary from tour to tour and will be provided to registrants beforehand.
