In 2023 Portland Sunday Parkways, presented by Kaiser Permanente, will celebrate its Sweet 16th. At these accessible, family-friendly events, streets on the route are closed to car traffic so that you can bike, walk, roll and play in Portland’s largest public space, its streets.

Sunday Parkways routes highlight Portland's network of neighborhood greenways and other new infrastructure, parks, and community resources. It’s crucial that everyone feel safe as they explore new ways of getting around, especially on streets that prioritize people walking and biking. 

The East Portland route will take Sunday Parkways into neighborhoods that you may never have been to before. You can hop on at any point and head in any direction. And when you get to either Gateway Discovery Park or Lincoln City Park, turn around and head back in the direction you came. You're sure to see new activities and run into new people all afternoon long. Each park will feature unique entertainment, community booths, and vendors, so make sure you take the time to visit each one.

• Stop by any Kaiser Permanente booth at one of the four parks to pick up a special event map.
• Move from park to park doing the activity at each Kaiser Permanente booth and receive a sticker for your map.
• Bring your completed map to any Kaiser Permanente booth to receive a reward.
