If you’ve got a passion for poker or want to give the roulette wheel a spin, test your luck at these gaming centers and casinos near Portland.

Gaming in Portland

Final Table Poker Club

Located just off Southeast Division Street is the most spacious poker room in the city, the Final Table Poker Club. With buy-ins at as low as $20, the Final Table offers multiple Texas Hold’em and Big O tournaments daily, along with pool, video games and board games. Once you’ve had your piece of the action, enjoy a menu of burgers, beer, churros and other snacks while watching your favorite sporting events on a big-screen TV.

The Game Portland Poker

The Game Poker Club is located on Southwest Barbur Boulevard near Multnomah Village and is known as the Texas Hold’em shootout capital of Portland. The poker destination uses custom Vegas-style tables with speed felt and designer-grade chairs to ensure a comfortable and authentically VIP experience. The lounge is outfitted with an 80-inch (2 m) HD projector, allowing visitors to enjoy NBA and NFL sports packages while feasting on a menu of burgers, sandwiches and specialty cocktails. Night owls will appreciate that The Game is the only legal after-hours licensed social gaming club in the city.

Casinos Near Portland

Spirit Mountain

Located 60 miles (97 km) south of Portland, Spirit Mountain Casino is Oregon’s premier gaming destination. The casino boasts a fleet of table games such as blackjack, roulette, craps and pai gow poker. Additionally, it offers traditional and touchscreen slot machines, a dedicated 24-hour poker room and the luxurious Spirit Mountain Lodge.

Treat yourself to a stay in a deluxe suite featuring a triple-sheeted king bed, wet bar and jacuzzi tub. Don’t forget to dine at one of the resort’s four on-site restaurants. Options include first-class meals at Legends Restaurant or the Cedar Plank Buffet (the largest buffet in Oregon). Whichever you choose, Spirit Mountain delivers plenty of delicious eats to power you through another round of cards.

While you’re there, take a break from the gaming table to enjoy one of Spirit Mountain’s events featuring comedy and music stars. The venue attracts big names like Kool & the Gang, Wanda Sykes and Boyz II Men. There are also free live rock-and-roll shows at the Mountain View Sports Bar.

Chinook Winds Casino Resort

Playing cards is even better by the beach! Take in the salt and spray of the scenic Oregon coast at the luxury resort casino Chinook Winds. The venue is located just two hours southwest of Portland in Lincoln City. There are plenty of thrills to be had, with plentiful neon slot machines, bingo and keno. Chinook Winds Casino also offers 22 classic table games, including favorites like three-card poker, roulette and blackjack. Betting limits start at $5.

The resort hotel features an indoor heated swimming pool, fitness center, sauna and spa. Book an oceanfront room and enjoy a round of golf at Chinook Winds Golf Resort, just north of the casino. The resort also features great food, including a fresh-catch oyster bar and a Native American-inspired menu at Chinook’s Seafood Grill. If your tastes run more turf than surf, check out the Rogue River Steakhouse, where you can take in a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean while enjoying your meal.

Ilani Casino

Located just north of Portland in Ridgefield, Washington, ilani Casino (pronounced “ay-lon-ay”) is the newest entry in the local gaming and entertainment scene. The casino takes its name from the indigenous Cowlitz tribe’s word for “sing.” The heritage of the Cowlitz people is evident in the design and feel of the gorgeous 156-acre (63-hectare) resort.

The casino’s 100,000-square-foot (9,290 sq m) gaming floor is packed with more than 2,500 slot machines and 75 table games, including favorites like blackjack, roulette, midi baccarat and craps. The resort offers more than the thrill of gaming; however, ilani is home to 16 different restaurants, bars and retail outlets, including Cantonese and Vietnamese cuisine at Bamboo 8, delicious pasta and pizza at I.talia Restaurant and designer fashions at Marshall Rousso boutique. The resort also features a 2,500-seat entertainment venue for concerts, stand-up comedy and karaoke.

Fortune Casino

Located 20 minutes north of Portland in La Center, Washington, Fortune Casino offers live casino action from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 a.m. daily. Games include Lucky Ladies blackjack, baccarat and Emperor’s Challenge pai gow. The Fortune’s dining options provide an Asian flair to the casino experience. The Lucky Dragon Restaurant features Vietnamese specials. Sample dishes like au choi crispy rolls, chim cut quails and other favorites from their seafood and sushi bars. On top of specialty cocktails, the casino bar offers smoothies, sake and bubble tea.

  • Chinook Winds Casino Resort

    Enjoy games of chance, live music, several restaurants, an 18-hole golf course and cozy accommodations at this beachfront hotel and casino in Lincoln City.

  • Three Rivers Casino and Resort

    In addition to their 90 oversized rooms and elegant suites, Three Rivers Casino Resort also offers five restaurants, daily entertainment and a golf course. Gaming options include slot machines, poker, table games, bingo and keno.
