Know Before You Go

Normal hours of operation are as follows:
Monday–Sunday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Need a guide to Portland? The Portland Visitor Center at 1132 SW Harvey Milk St., Suite 104, in downtown West End — steps away from hotels, shopping and attractions — is here to help you get to know the city and plan your visit to PDX.

Step into the Visitor’s Center to find your way, get ideas for where to eat, learn about local attractions, or take a break from the weather — rain or shine. We also have free Wi-Fi and stations where you can charge your cell phone and refill your water bottle (we’re an eco-conscious town, after all!)

It’s probably one of the coolest visitor centers I’ve been to. Free pinball and stickers! The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Erica Blum, Google Review

Our friendly and knowledgeable travel experts are excited to help visitors plan their itineraries, recommend attractions and provide information about events and activities in the area. The center is stocked with brochures from hundreds of area attractions, plus city and state maps so you can get your bearings.

Want to try out some of Portland’s famous food carts? We’ve got you covered. We can also recommend PDX’s award-winning restaurants, where to pick up a cup of Portland coffee or the best places to sample the city’s famous beer culture.
