Travel Portland Incentive
$7 rebate per actualized room night by contracting an event with 50 or more rooms on peak night (and 150+ total rooms) in 2023, 2024 or 2025.
Hosted site visit for one customer (includes airfare, airport transportation, city tour). Bidding hotel(s) to offer complimentary accommodations based on availability.
Terms & Conditions
This promotional offer applies to Groups utilizing one or more participating Tourism Improvement District (TID) Portland hotel(s) with a minimum of 50 guest rooms on peak night and 150+ total room nights. The rebate is limited to a maximum payout of $7,000 per event and will be paid directly to the Group within 60 days of departure, contingent upon Group’s return of all requested documents by the date referenced in the confirmation letter. Group must be contracted with participating Portland hotel(s) by December 31, 2023.
Group meeting dates must occur between 1/1/2023— 12/31/2025. Valid for new business only, not applicable to previously contracted business. Sales leads must originate from the Travel Portland Convention Sales team, or; eligible hotel(s) must provide the event RFP to request Travel Portland promotion assistance. Once approved by Travel Portland, the hotel offer the promotion to the client. Travel Portland will issue a letter to the Group confirming rebate payout after a countersigned copy of the contractual agreement between Group and Hotel has been received.
Group must complete an accounting intake form and provide a valid W9 for Travel Portland to issue a rebate payment. The promotion cannot be combined with other promotional offers from Travel Portland and the incentive is not available to groups that receive VDF grants. Site tour includes airfare for one person ($1,000 maximum), ground transportation in the city, hosted meals with your Travel Portland representative, and complimentary accommodations based on availability. Travel Portland reserves the right to end the promotion at any time and funds are used on a first come, first serve basis.
