Launched in November 2019, Travel Portland’s winter advertising campaign, “Go Somewhere Different,” continues to target travelers in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Eugene and Bend with a mix of dynamic tactics. Beginning in February, the campaign will see its largest audience yet, airing television spots in the Los Angeles market before and after the Super Bowl broadcast and during the Oscars, two of the most-watched television shows of the year. The campaign also features new sponsored content with Bon Appétit, Conde Nast Traveler and Them, which have achieved more than 8 million impressions combined.
“We’re excited to be in LA in a big way for the first time,” says Ajay Date, Travel Portland’s Vice President of Marketing. “It’s the largest and most diverse market we’ve ever run a campaign in, with lots of direct flights, and we’re looking forward to seeing the impact in terms of room nights this winter.”
