Organized by the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education, the SIGCSE computing education symposium attracts nearly 2000 researchers, educators, and practitioners interested in improving computing education in K-12 and higher education. It includes panels, workshops, special sessions and more.

Keynote speakers include Juan E. Gilbert, Andrew Banks Family Preeminence Endowed Professor and Chair of the Computer & Information Science & Engineering Department at the University of Florida, Alison Clear, Associate Professor at the Auckland campus of the Eastern Institute of Technology, Lauri Malmi, professor of computer science at Aalto University/Helsinki University of Technology since 2001, Valerie E. Taylor, CEO and President of the Center for Minorities and People with Disabilities in IT (CMD-IT), and other presenters and panelists.
