Klaver and Friends formed in the Fall of 2018 in the halls of Ethos Music Center for Kids, as two of the instructors amassed a crack team of talented, hardworking musicians to pay a 50th anniversary tribute to The Beatles self titled double album (“The White Album.”) After several packed, well received performances in Portland, they elected to stay together for future endeavors, including full performances of the last Beatles records “Let It Be” and “Abbey Road.” Their take on the often-covered and legendary Beatles material is a raw, bar-band approach with careful attention to detail and a vocal-heavy wall of sound.
