The weather has cooled, and that means the fresh oyster season is in full swing. So, Agrodolce Distilling is using this opportunity to release a new gin and make martinis. The martini is one of those crisp, refreshing beverages that lets the flavors of a fresh, briny oyster shine. And to make a great martini, you need a great gin, like Agrodolce Distilling’s award-winning Gin Through the Sages — a West Coast gin with plenty of citrus and herbal highlights.

On this Sunday afternoon, Can Bar will be offering its signature martini paired with farm-fresh oysters. But that’s not all. This will be the first opportunity to taste Agrodolce’s newest product, the Riz Vin Gin — a wine-based gin crafted from Oregon-grown riesling and locally sourced herbs, including sage, lemon balm, chocolate peppermint, eucalyptus and fennel, to name a few. Come for a taste, stay for the martinis and oysters, and perhaps, leave with your very own limited-release bottle.

And since this is a party, one can also expect some special large-format champagne corks to be popped (or silently opened…they’re professionals there), selected from the award-winning Pix Pâtisserie wine cellars and offered by the glass or half glass.
