You Are Not Alone: A Storytelling Event for the Solo & Curious

Connection. Companionship. Community. It starts with a story. Join a special evening of storytelling that explores what it means to be alone and connected. Four of Portland’s most compelling, single voices take the mic—not to talk about dating apps or heartbreak—but rather to share real, honest, funny, and tender stories about:
- Creating community when you’re starting from scratch
- Becoming comfortable in your own company
- Navigating the desire for partnership, friendship, and love
- Learning resilience through relationships that didn’t work
- Taking time to know yourself, and being ready to share that self with someone else
This isn’t a dating event, rather a night for those who’ve been solo for a stretch—whether by choice, by circumstance, or by beautiful chaos—and are still standing, still learning, still open. It’s a space for humans, especially those who are single, new to Portland, or simply looking to meet others walking a similar path. Whether you’re seeking connection, community, or just a good story and some friendly faces, you are welcome here.
