Join a jam-packed weekend of competitive petanque and fun community activities at the original pumpkin patch on beautiful Sauvie Island.

The Sauvie Island Open Challenge: Petanque is a precision sport native to France. Teams compete for positional advantage using steel boules. Players point, shoot, plombe and carreau as they battle one another upon a very challenging gravel terrain. Enjoy a weekend of petanque competition, tasty treats, community activities and farm-fresh fun.

The Tasty Tart Contest and Tasting: Local pastry chefs will bake their delicious tart art for you to enjoy and judge. Tarts will be on sale for tasting, or you can buy a ticket to be a judge. Using fresh fruit and the finest ingredients, contestants are scored on taste and artistry.

Winetasting: Three local wineries will bring their favorite vintage wines for you to taste and enjoy.
