Science Pub: You Are WHEN You Eat
For decades, health and diet professionals have focused on what and how much you eat as a means to achieving a “healthier you.” However, the timing of when you eat, particularly in relation to your sleep-wake cycle, may be just as important for health, including metabolic function, hormone regulation, and heart function. In this lecture, returning Science Pub speaker and sleep specialist Dr. Andrew McHill will explore why the timing of your meals is crucial and examine recent trends in intermittent fasting and time-restricted eating.
Science Pubs are a casual lecture series held in fun venues across the region. It is recommended for ages 10 and over.
