Yes, Argentina has an amazing reputation for high-quality Malbecs but is that all they make? Absolutely not, so let’s find out what else they have going for them.
Salta in the north offers fantastic Torrontés, the Uco Valley convinces wine critics worldwide that not just Malbec can thrive. Patagonia to the south offers a cool climate Pinot Noirs, a region that can rival some greats.
With that said, the focus will remain on Malbec. It is intriguing how this variety compares when tasting it from different wine regions within this vast country. With high dessert, glaciated peaks and yet a sunny climate, this country is set up to make some unique wines of the world.
This class will be led by one of Vino Veritas’ Somelliers, and there will be the opportunity to taste about six different wines.
