It's hard to believe that 20 years have passed since Interpol's Turn On The Bright Lights turned on a new generation to the more melancholic spectrum of late 70s and early 80s post punk and shoegaze, launching a tidal wave of indie rock bands mining the sounds of an earlier era.

Featuring members of Portland bands Neuma & Soft Cheese, New York Kids is bringing a heartfelt, pitch-perfect, note-for-note tribute to the seminal album and band.

Portland's favorite Beach House tribute, Victoria, are opening this must-see event for fans of music of the sounds coming from both coasts in the early 21st century.
