Orycon: Oregon Convention for Creators celebrates sci-fi and fantasy writing, illustration, crafting, and multimedia content creation. This annual convention has been held in Portland, Oregon, since 1979, and historically focused on sci-fi and fantasy literature. Bringing creative industry professionals, passionate local panelists for discussions and workshops, and other programming. Guests of Honor hold autograph sessions, and their work will be available for purchase in our large Merchant Market, which is divided into Dealers Den of a variety of delightful merchandise, an Artists Alley of personally created work, and its subsection Writers Block featuring the books of local authors. This community of professional creators, fans, and those ready for their next steps, will offer you opportunities to network with those who share your interests and dreams. Whether you're here to socialize, learn, create, support local creators, or explore, there's something to spark joy for you at OryCon 43.
