The following description was submitted by the event organizer.

What do a Venetian businesswoman, a champion fencer, and a music teacher have in common? They all wrote early Classical string quartets! In this program, Portland Baroque Orchestra presents works by Maddalena Lombardini Sirmen and Chevalier de Saint-Georges, as well as Joseph Haydn’s “Sunrise” quartet.

This performance, like all of PBO's 20-21 Season, is presented through Great Arts. Period., an admission-free digital concert hall. Check out more performances at GreatArtsPeriod.org.
