The following description was submitted by the event organizer.

Come out and enjoy the last Sunday Parkways of the season with this 6 -mile (9.7km) ride in Northeast Portland. Enjoy the walking/biking in the Northeast Cully Neighborhood. Visit Fernhill Park, Khunamokwst Park, Wellington Park, and Roseway Parkway.

This year’s Sunday Parkways routes are specially designed to highlight Portland’s neighborhood greenway network and parks. There will be spots in the parks and along the route where circulation slows for food vendors, non-profit & sponsor information tables and live entertainment.

What are neighborhood greenways?

Neighborhood greenways are low-traffic and low-speed streets where people walking, and biking are prioritized. Neighborhood greenways make traveling to the grocery store, school, pharmacy or other destinations by biking, walking, or rolling more comfortable and enjoyable.

Portland has over 100 miles of greenways and is continuing to add more in certain areas and improve those that already exist.
