Sordid Lives by Del Shores puts a comedic twist on a story of unconditional love, acceptance and coming out in a colorful small-town Texas family. The entire clan has converged for the funeral of Peggy, the family's matriarch and a good Christian woman, who died from an accident after tripping over her lover’s wooden legs in a seedy motel room. To make matters worse, it happened during a rendezvous with a legless Vietnam War vet who is husband to one of her best friends.
