Fans of last season’s Dial M for Murder will want to come back for Wait Until Dark, a sensory thriller that will chill you to your very core. Susan Hendrix, a blind Greenwich Village housewife, has been left alone in her apartment when she becomes the target of ruthless con men hatching an elaborate charade in order to get their hands on a mysterious doll. As the tension mounts and the house plunges into darkness, can Susan outwit the murderous visitors?

"Though best known for the 1967 film version starring Audrey Hepburn, Fredrick Knott’s noir-ish thriller about a blind Greenwich Village housewife beset by ruthless con men started out onstage. Lakewood Theatre Company presents a 2013 adaptation by Jeffrey Hatcher that moves the story back a couple of decades, adding an atmosphere of war-time nervousness to the gripping tension of the plot." – Oregon Arts Watch
