Heart’s original location, opened in 2009, is nestled into Portland’s Eastside. This is a destination for the specialty coffee community, where customers can watch small batches being roasted every Sunday. Heart aims to bring people a focused, exceptional coffee experience starting with the best green coffee primarily from Central America, South America, and Africa. Every batch is roasted to develop complex flavors and bring out delicate clarity. Each beverage is made in house from scratch start to finish including drinking chocolate, vanilla syrup, and the optional house made cashew-almond milk.
