Diane Morgan is an award-winning cookbook author and culinary instructor. She is the author of 17 cookbooks, including her newest book, Roots: The Definitive Compendium with more than 225 Recipes. Roots won the prestigious James Beard award and a coveted IACP Cookbook Award in 2013. The New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, among others named Roots one of the top cookbooks of the year. Along with writing, Diane offers intimate, private cooking classes in her home kitchen for groups visiting Portland. These demonstration classes, for 8 to 14 guests, are focused on local and seasonal Northwest ingredients. Larger groups may be accommodated at an offsite location.
